    Gov. Polis Announces Boards and Commissions Appointments

    Colorado Healthcare Affordability and Sustainability Enterprise (CHASE)

    Colorado Healthcare Affordability and Sustainability Enterprise is responsible for working with the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and the Medical Services Board to develop the hospital provider fee model, monitor the implementation of House Bill 09-1293, help with the preparation of annual reports on this program, and ensure that the Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) eligibility expansions are implemented as intended.

    CO Exposure Notification Technology Goes Live Today

    Governor Jared Polis today announced that the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has launched its statewide COVID-19 exposure notification system, in partnership with Google and Apple. Coloradans received a notice on their Android and Apple phones with instructions about how to opt-in.

    Gov. Polis Orders Flags Lowered to Honor Commerce City Police Officer Curt Holland

    DENVER - Today, Gov. Polis ordered flags lowered to half staff on all public buildings statewide from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, October 24, to honor the passing of Commerce City Police Officer Curt Holland. Officer Holland was killed in a crash Friday, October 16, 2020, at the age of 37.  Officer Holland leaves behind his wife Amanda, and two young children.

    Colorado, USDA Forest Service Announces Capitol Christmas Tree Essay Contest

    DENVER - Governor Jared Polis and First Gentleman Marlon Reis, in partnership with the USDA Forest Service, announced the opportunity for Colorado fourth graders to take part in sending the Capitol Christmas Tree to the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.. Colorado students are invited to describe why Colorado’s vast, great outdoors are important to them for a chance to win an exclusive tour of the Colorado State Capitol. In July, Gov. Polis announced the kick-off of the 2020 Capitol Christmas Tree project

    Governor Polis Takes Further Action on Housing Stability

    DENVER - Governor Jared Polis today signed an Executive Order implementing the remaining recommendations from the Special Eviction Prevention Task Force. The Governor convened the Task Force in August to examine housing instability challenges due to COVID-19.

    Governor Polis Provides Update on COVID-19

    DENVER - Governor Jared Polis provided an update on the State’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic today. Gov. Polis was joined by Dr. Rachel Herlihy, Colorado’s lead epidemiologist, Jill Ryan, Executive Director of CDPHE, and Kate Greenberg, Colorado’s Commissioner of Agriculture.
