    DENVER - Gov. Polis and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) signed a Shared Stewardship Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the state capitol. This agreement establishes a framework for federal and state agencies to collaborate better, focus on accomplishing mutual goals, and respond to ecological, natural resource, and recreational challenges and concerns for our 24 million acres of forest lands in Colorado.

    DENVER - Gov. Jared Polis announced today that he is recreating and reorganizing the Governor’s Executive Clemency Advisory Board. This Board will review clemency applications and provide recommendations to the Governor for commutations and pardons.

    Gov. Polis: 2020 ACA Premiums Going Down by an Average of 20.2%

    DENVER - Governor Polis announced today alongside a bipartisan group of residents, legislators, and state officials that for 2020, Coloradans shopping for an individual health insurance plan will see an unprecedented reduction in premiums -- an average statewide decrease of 20.2 percent (-20.2%). This is even lower than the 18.2% preliminary decrease announced in July. As this is an average, depending on where people live and the health insurance plan they choose, some people in the rural parts of Colorado will see average decreases of over 30 percent (-30%).

    Gov. Polis orders flags lowered to honor former Colorado legislator Leo Lucero

    DENVER — Gov. Jared Polis today ordered the United States and Colorado flags be lowered to half-staff statewide on all public buildings from sunrise to sunset tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, to honor former Colorado legislator, Leo Lucero. Lucero served in the legislature for 14 years.
