DENVER - Yesterday, Governor Polis directed the state of Colorado and the National Guard to send a Chinook Helicopter (1CH47) and its eight crew members to Florida to assist with Hurricane Milton preparation and relief. This is in addition to numerous other resources that Colorado has provided to states impacted by Hurricane Helene, including from the Colorado Department of Public Safety and the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM), as well as the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

DENVER – Today, Governor Polis and the Business Support division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced the Partner Outreach Program (POP) to connect Colorado entrepreneurs and small business owners to OEDIT programs. The vacancy for District Attorney in the 7th Judicial District was created by the resignation of District Attorney Seth Ryan, effective October 31, 2024.

DENVER – Today, Gov. Jared Polis, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), and Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) announced the preliminary selection of three recipients of Proposition 123 Equity program funding. These funds will provide investment capital for low- and middle-income multifamily affordable rental housing projects, supporting the creation of an estimated 292 affordable housing units. Each of these projects is also a key component to regional economic development plans poised to bring new revenue into Colorado, create jobs and revitalize communities.
