DENVER — Today, Governor Jared Polis and philanthropy Arnold Ventures announced a multimillion-dollar investment to help Coloradans enroll in and complete education programs that will position them for good jobs in skilled trade and health care professions. The initiative is part of the Colorado Partnership for Proven Initiatives, a multi-year $20 million philanthropic partnership to improve economic opportunities for Coloradans.

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis ordered flags to be raised to full staff today at sunset following Vice President Dick Cheney’s funeral. The Governor ordered flags lowered to half staff on November 4, following the Vice President’s passing and in accordance with U.S. flag code.

DENVER - Governor Polis released the following statement after the Colorado Water Conservation Board voted to advance the Shoshone water rights acquisition to secure two water rights associated with the Shoshone Power Plant, including one of the state’s most significant Colorado River water rights, for permanent instream flow protection.
