    State Patrol Troopers Begin Accepting Colorado Digital ID™

    The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) announced that troopers will begin accepting the Colorado Digital ID™ within the myColorado™ mobile app as proof of identity, age and address for traffic stops within the state. The contactless Digital ID, downloaded by more than 75,000 Coloradans, provides residents a secure, safe and convenient way to exchange information with troopers. Colorado is the first state in the nation to offer residents the option to electronically transmit digital identification, vehicle registration and proof of insurance to law enforcement.

    Governor Polis and First Gentleman Reis Test Positive for COVID-19

    DENVER - This evening, Governor Polis and First Gentleman Reis learned that they have tested positive for COVID-19. They are both asymptomatic, feeling well, and will continue to isolate in their home.

    “Marlon and I are feeling well so far, and are in good spirits. No person or family is immune to this virus. I urge every Coloradan to practice caution, limit public interactions, wear a mask in public, stay six feet from others, and wash your hands regularly,” said Governor Polis.

    Governor Polis to Begin Quarantine

    DENVER -  This evening, Governor Polis learned that he was exposed to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19. Governor Polis took a test this evening and tested negative. 

    Per CDC and CDPHE guidance, the Governor has begun quarantine, will be closely monitored, and will be re-tested in the coming days.

    Last week, Governor Polis and Lt. Governor Primavera welcomed an announcement that Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs has been selected as one of the six finalists for the permanent home of U.S. Space Command. Following this important announcement, federal, state, and local officials along with key leaders praised the decision and the benefits offered by keeping U.S. Space Command in Colorado Springs.
