    Gov. Polis Announces Boards and Commissions Appointments

    Board of Real Estate Appraisers

    The Board of Real Estate Appraisers meets monthly to conduct rulemaking hearings, make policy decisions, consider licensing matters, review complaints and take disciplinary action against real estate appraisers. It is a board of seven members, appointed by the governor.

    Colorado Grown Food Competition to Debut at 2021 State Fair

    PUEBLO - To highlight Colorado’s diverse and unbeatable agricultural products and chefs, Governor Jared Polis has announced the inaugural “Governor’s Plate” competition to debut at the 2021 Colorado State Fair. The competitors will partner with Colorado Proud to select Colorado-grown ingredients, including the Pueblo chile, to incorporate in their dishes.

    Governor Polis Discusses Glenwood Canyon Damage & Provides Update

    Governor Polis Takes Action in Response to COVID-19

    DENVER - Today, Governor Polis announced new economic recovery action in response to COVID-19.  The Governor signed an Executive Order which will amend the Disaster Recovery Order to provide tenants who have a pending application for emergency rental assistance with a 30 day period to cure beginning on August 1, when the directives of the amended Executive Order go into effect.

    Governor Polis Statement on President Biden’s Address

    DENVER - Colorado continues to lead the way when it comes to administering the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine. Governor Jared Polis commended President Joe Biden following the President’s remarks today about the COVID-19 pandemic and the state provided insight into recent actions taken by the Polis administration to administer the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine and address the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, 3,440,614 Coloradans have received at least one dose which accounts for 69.5% of the eligible population (ages 12 and up). 71.68% of Colorado adults have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Colorado was one of twenty states -- and one of the few in the West --  to meet President Biden’s aspirational goal of vaccinating 70% of Americans aged 18 and up by July 4th and did so ahead of schedule.
