Jared Polis signed an Executive Order to expand registered apprenticeship programs for Colorado’s efficient and high-achieving state workforce, continuing to bring good-paying jobs to Coloradans, provide Coloradans with opportunities to advance in their careers, and ensuring state agencies can continue to hire, train, and retain a qualified and high-performing workforce. 

DENVER – Today, Governor Polis and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced the expansion, supported by a new law Governor Polis signed last week. The Economic Mobility Program works to reduce child and household poverty, and supports Coloradans with tax services, ensuring hardworking Coloradans take full advantage of tax credits and free filing assistance services available to them.

DENVER – Today, Governor Polis and the Department of Local Affairs announced the recipients of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), a program that provides grants for transformative projects that actively support community development activities to build stronger and more resilient communities across Colorado.
