DENVER - Today, Governor Polis, Lieutenant Governor Primavera, Treasurer Young, Department of Revenue Executive Director Mark Ferrandino, and state legislators announced that Colorado Cash Back tax rebate checks of $750 for individuals and $1,500 for joint filers are being mailed out and urged Coloradans to check their mail throughout the month of August for their tax rebates. Governor Polis, in partnership with the legislature, took bold action by passing legislation that will provide big and immediate relief to Coloradans and get the tax rebates out sooner than they otherwise would have gone out.

LAKEWOOD – This year, Governor Jared Polis signed a comprehensive public safety plan into law. Key components of the Governor’s public safety plan include the creation of new public safety grant programs that will make more than $70 million available to Colorado communities over upcoming years. The Colorado Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) within the Department of Public Safety and Polis administration is now accepting applications for a pool of $4.2 million in grant funding aimed at preventing youth delinquency and providing early intervention for youth who have entered or are at-risk of entering the juvenile justice system.
DENVER - Today, Governor Polis, Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), and Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) announced the recipients of the second round of the Outdoor Regional Partnerships grants. These grants will provide transformative support for organizations working to preserve and protect Colorado’s world-class outdoors, iconic wildlife, and precious water resources now and for generations to come. These grants are the result of a landmark Executive Order signed by Governor Polis creating the Outdoor Regional Partnerships Initiative. This effort will chart a long-term, equitable and sustainable vision for the future of Colorado’s outdoors and outdoor recreation in the face of climate change. The grants will provide better local collaboration and leadership in creating and implementing the Governor’s state-wide vision for Colorado’s world-class outdoors.
