WHEAT RIDGE INVESTMENT ADVISER FIRM AND ITS OWNER CHARGED WITH SECURITIES LAW VIOLATIONS Denver, Colorado --- Colorado Securities Commissioner Fred Joseph announced today that he has filed an amended complaint in Denver District Court and obtained a temporary restraining order against Brad R. Hawkins and his company, Integrity Financial Solutions, Inc., alleging that they are violating the anti-fraud provisions of the Colorado Securities Act (“Act”). Denver District Court Judge Ann B. Frick entered a temporary restraining order, which prohibits Hawkins and his company from providing investment advisory services, from offering or selling securities in Colorado and violating the registration, licensing and anti-fraud provisions of the Act

WHEAT RIDGE INVESTMENT ADVISER CHARGED WITH SECURITIES LAW VIOLATIONS DENVER DISTRICT COURT ENJOINS SECURITIES LAW VIOLATIONS Denver, Colorado --- Colorado Securities Commissioner Fred Joseph announced today that he filed a complaint in Denver District Court and obtained a temporary restraining order and asset freeze against Perry Sawano and his company, Providence Financial Services, which does business as Integrity Financial Consulting, alleging that they are violating the anti-fraud provisions of the Colorado Securities Act (“Act”). Denver District Court Judge Ann B. Frick entered a temporary restraining order, which prohibits Sawano and his company from providing investment advisory services, from offering or selling securities in Colorado and violating the registration, licensing and anti-fraud provisions of the Colorado Securities Act. In addition, Judge Frick entered an order freezing various bank accounts held by Sawano and his company.

COLORADO INVESTMENT ADVISER SANCTIONED FOR VIOLATING STATE’S SECURITIES LAWS Denver --- Colorado Securities Commissioner Fred Joseph announced today that he has entered into a stipulation with Merle Gene Walter, a financial planner based in Arvada, that has resulted in the entry of a permanent injunction barring Walter from the securities industry in Colorado for allegedly violating the securities anti-fraud provisions and rules of the Colorado Securities Act in connection with his investment advisory services he provided his clients.

HEDGE FUND OPERATOR CHARGED WITH SECURITIES LAW VIOLATIONS Denver, Colorado --- Colorado Securities Commissioner Fred Joseph announced today that he has filed a complaint in Denver District Court against a Longmont man and his related businesses alleging that he has violated the anti-fraud and licensing provisions of the Colorado Securities Act in connection with their marketing and management of Colony Capital, LLC, Colony Capital LP, and Colony Capital Group (“Colony Capital”), a “private equity fund” operating most recently out of Longmont, Colorado. Named in the complaint in addition to the Colony Capital entities are Gary Snisky of Longmont, Colorado, David Burch of Aurora, Colorado, and Brenda Ridley of Bakersfield, California. At all times relative to this complaint, none of these Defendants were licensed in any capacity with the Securities Commissioner.
