Consumer Protection is Our Mission.
DORA’s Division of Professions and Occupations is responsible for the licensure and enforcement of 50 professions, occupations and businesses totaling nearly 350,000 people in the state. The work of the Division touches all Coloradans in their personal, daily lives.
Check to see if any disciplinary actions exist for your service provider.
If you feel that a professional or business regulated by the Division of Professions and Occupations has violated a law or regulation, you may choose to file a complaint.
Before you pick a healthcare professional sign a service agreement, or solicit a professional or business to perform a service, find out if the person or business has an active license, registration or certification that is in good standing.
Consumers have access to information about Colorado healthcare providers to make more informed healthcare decisions. Most healthcare professions regulated by the Division of Professions and Occupations are required by law to complete profiles. The program is called the Healthcare Professions Profiling Program.
