Consumer Protection is our mission.
The Healthcare Professions Profiling Program or HPPP was created to monitor the healthcare profiling requirement in Colorado. The information provided in profiles is submitted by the individual licensee, but the HPPP staff in the Division of Professions and Occupations monitors whether all information is provided, processes complaints about inaccurate information and issues administrative fines to individuals found to be noncompliant with the requirement.
Many Healthcare Professions regulated by the Division of Professions and Occupations are required to complete profiles. This includes most professions within the following programs:
| Acupuncture | Nursing |
| Addiction Counseling | Optometry |
|
Audiology/Hearing Aid Provider |
Physical Therapy |
| Chiropractic | Podiatry |
| Dental/Dental Hygiene | Professional Counseling |
| Dentists | Psychology |
| Direct-Entry Midwifery | Psycholtherapy |
| Marriage and Family Therapy | Social Work |
| Medical |
Legislation passed during the Legislative Session impacts the Division of Professions and Occupations. The Division is developing an implementation process at this time. Please check back in the near future to learn about any changes to rules, requirements and important deadlines.
