Those wishing to obtain an original Registered Psychotherapist registration must now apply using the online system. Please use the link below to be directed to Online Services. Upon your first visit, you must register an account with the Division.
If you have already mailed a paper application to the Division, DO NOT apply online as well. If the paper application you mailed is incomplete, Licensing will contact you for further information and/or documentation.
A checklist of required items is also posted below. Please review the checklist before you begin your online application to ensure you are prepared to submit all required information and documentation to the Division. Failing to provide all information will result in delays.

License Expiration Grace Period for New Applicants. All new applicants who are issued a registration within 120 days of the upcoming renewal expiration date will be issued a registration with the subsequent expiration date. For example, registrations issued between May 1, 2015 and August 31, 2015 will reflect a registration expiration date of August 31, 2017. Registrations issued prior to May 1, 2015 will reflect an expiration date of August 31, 2015 and must renew in the upcoming renewal period.
License Renewal Information. All Registered Psychotherapist registrations expire on August 31 of odd-numbered years and must be renewed to continue practicing.
