Definitions

  • Original License: You are applying for an original Colorado license.
  • Renew: You currently hold a Colorado license and are in a renewal period.
  • Reinstate: Your Colorado license has expired and you wish to reinstate the license.

License Expiration Grace Period for New Applicants. All new applicants who are issued registration within 120 days of the upcoming renewal expiration date will be issued registration with the subsequent expiration date. For example, a registration issued between August 1, 2012 and November 30, 2012 will reflect a registration expiration date of November 30, 2013. A registration issued prior to August 1, 2012 will reflect an expiration date of November 30, 2012 and must renew in the upcoming renewal period.

License Renewal Information. All Colorado Funeral Home and Crematory registrations expire on November 30 every year and must be renewed to continue practicing.
