Much of the work done by the Division of Insurance is posted on our website and does not require an Open Records Request to view. Please take a look at the Site Directory to see if the material is available.
The public may view rate and form filings at our offices by making an appointment with the Division. All research is done by the individual who is making the request. For those who are out of state or unable to visit the Division offices, there is a list of vendors (not affiliated with the Division of Insurance) who can be hired to obtain this information.

Certain confidential documents, including documents which are related to an open investigation, are not available through the Colorado Open Records Act.

The Division of Insurance provides public records on request in accordance with the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) which can be found under the Colorado Revised Statutes. Due to the frequency that pages are changed at the site we cannot direct you to the individual statutes.
