Electrical Contractor Registration

 

In order to become an electrical contractor in the State of Colorado, you must provide:

 

NOTE: The company owner must be or employ a full-time master electrician. The master electrician is responsible for all electrical work done by the company. He can be responsible for only one company.

An out-of-state corporation must obtain an Authority to Conduct Business in the State of Colorado from the Colorado Secretary of State's office. A Limited Liability Partnership should also contact the Secretary of State's office at 303-894-2200.

An electrical contractor license or registration may be required by the city or county where your business is located. For more information contact the local government office.
