Relay Statutes

The laws that provide the statutory authority for the implementation of the 711 system in Colorado are listed below. The laws for Telecommunication Relay Services for Disabled Telephone Users are located in Title 40, Article 17, within the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.). Article 17 is divided into four sections:
  • 40-17-101, C.R.S. Legislative declaration.
  • 40-17-102, C.R.S. Definitions.
  • 40-17-103, C.R.S. Commission - powers and duties.
  • 40-17-104, C.R.S. Colorado disabled telephone users fund - creation - purpose.
