The Real Estate Commission (Commission) randomly selects a number of licensees to be part of a real estate broker continuing education audit each quarter. Selected licensees must demonstrate compliance with the continuing education requirements for the three-year license cycle they just completed.
Licensees are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education during each three-year (3) license cycle. This includes three 4-Hour Annual Update Courses and 12 elective hours of continuing education. Course certificates must be retained by the licensee for a period of four (4) years and must be supplied to the Division of Real Estate (Division) upon request. If you are selected for a continuing education audit you will be notified by letter and asked to provide your course certificates.

You must provided the Commission with a copy of your course certificates for all 24 hours of continuing education, along with a copy of CE Audit worksheet that will be sent to you with the initial letter informing you about the audit. You may submit your certificate and the worksheet to the Division by:
